Setting Up Your Profile
Learn how to customize your Shifts profile, add a photo, update your contact information, and manage your personal settings.
Accessing Your Profile
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of any page
- Select “Profile” from the dropdown menu
- You’ll be taken to your profile page where you can make changes
Profile Information
Adding a Profile Photo
- On your profile page, click the profile picture placeholder or existing image
- Click “Upload Photo”
- Select an image from your device
- Crop the image as needed
- Click “Save” to confirm your new profile picture
Updating Personal Information
Your profile contains important information that helps managers and team members identify you:
- From your profile page, click “Edit Profile”
- Update the following information:
- Full name
- Display name (if different from your full name)
- Contact phone number
- Secondary email (optional)
- Emergency contact information
- Click “Save Changes”
Setting Communication Preferences
Control how and when you receive notifications:
- From your profile page, click the “Preferences” tab
- Set your preferred communication channels:
- Email notifications
- SMS/text alerts
- Mobile push notifications
- Choose which events trigger notifications
- Click “Save Preferences”
Skills and Qualifications
Add skills and certifications to your profile to help with shift assignments:
- From your profile page, select the “Skills” tab
- Click “Add Skill” to document your capabilities
- For each skill, set your proficiency level
- If the skill requires certification, add your certification information
- Upload any certification documents if required
