The Break Compliance Management features in Shifts help organizations enforce and track employee breaks in accordance with labor laws and company policies. By automating break tracking, notifications, and compliance reporting, the system helps prevent violations, maintain accurate records, and ensure employees receive appropriate rest periods. This article explains how to set up, manage, and monitor break compliance within the platform.
Understanding Break Compliance
Types of Breaks
The system supports multiple break categories:
- Meal Breaks: Longer unpaid breaks for meals (typically 30-60 minutes)
